You’re fired.
Sure enough when I arrived at the clubhouse, everyone was in cuffs and the jerk who pulled me over was the one ushering my father out of the clubhouse.
They say you never see the bad guys coming.
Well, I didn’t see the cocky jerk coming either.

I started this book with the second in the series and have been hooked ever since. Although I really need to go back and read the first because this series is addicting. A group of friends who are hilarious, loyal, and who all have been through something make for a wonderful series. Experiencing their journey to not only being comfortable with themselves and falling in love is one that will have you flipping the pages and wanting more and more of their stories.

Finally we get Hasty's story. She has always come off as the b*tch and being able to see more of her was great. I never expected it to go the way it did. I was shocked and angry on her behalf. I loved the journey she goes down not only with overcoming the hurt, betrayal and everything else but her journey to finding her happiness and her true self. The heartbreak, lies, the persistence of her one time rival, well just everything in this book is one that will have your heart breaking and then putting all the pieces together and just leaving you speechless.

Julia Kent did such a great job with everyone of these books. Definitely a must read book. You don't have to read the others to enjoy this book but they are worth it too.
