Not normally one for a shifter romance although I find that I love everyone I choose to read but there is something addicting about the Wolf Ranch series. I cannot get enough of Renee & Vanessa's characters and I think I must go back and read the first two because I just can't resist. The men are alpha to the max, the women keep them on their toes and the chemistry is outrageous. Now if you aren't into instant love than move along. You need to keep in mind that these are shifter books, that we don't truly have are one true mate like they do. Although wouldn't it be nice...
Clint is the quiet and calm one. He is full of secrets and a darkness that keeps him thinking he will never have what all the others are finding. He wants it but then again he doesn't because it is too dangerous. He never expected that one encounter with a hot human would end up the way it did. Things aren't going to be easy. His human is resistant to relationships, is not quick to trust, has a messy past that won't stay in the past and dangers are lurking.
Becky has been going through hell for a long time. First with her parents who made her feel like a burden, then with a horrible relationship that not only has left a sour taste in her mouth regarding relationships and trust but a whole lot more drama. One encounter with a sexy as hell man has left her with a surprise that she doesn't want to reveal. She wants someone to want her, not to feel obligated to be with her and she isn't sure Clint is that someone.
This book is addicting from the first page. I just can't get enough and the twists and turns this book takes really kept my attention. I can't wait to find out who the next book is about. I think I may know but the teaser has officially left me desperate for more of these alpha shifter wolves.
