My heart absolutely broke reading this book. I was shocked, dismayed, amazed, filled with love and happiness and so much more while reading this book. Lani really went above and beyond with this book.
I loved the relationship that developed between Theo and Liner. How someone who has been through so much can have such a loving and caring heart after it all amazed me. Liner feels drawn to Theo and wants to find out everything about her and to help her and her daughter even at the cost of his happiness.
This had to be one of the most intense reads that I have read from Lani and I fell in complete love with the story and the characters. This is a perfect example of why I can't wait for more by Lani Lynn Vale.
