I have not read a lot by Pippa or Lili but they have gained a fan with me with this series. I have been addicted to the O'Dells and the crazy townspeople and pets of Happy Cat. You never know what is going to happen in this series and you can always anticipate it being hilarious.
Clint is the youngest and irresistible Marine of the town. He has set his sights for Noelle and is determined to make her his but she isn't about to make it easy.
Noelle has grown up with a father in the service and doesn't want that life for herself. She has come to Happy Cat for a new beginning and is going to fight the attraction and chemistry she is feeling for Clint. All she wants is to feel like she belongs in town but it seems like someone is against that. Clint is determined to help her and if it gets him closer to her all the better.
You will not want to put this book down. You don't have to read the others to enjoy this book but if you are a fan of romantic comedies you don't want to miss out on the previous ones. This series is hilarious and sexy and completely addicting. I definitely recommend this one and it is a great holiday read as well.
