Oh man talk about an emotional roller coaster. This one had me once again loving and hating Gunner. T.L. Smith always delivers a book that will have you wondering why you are loving certain characters and stories so much when their story isn't an easy, sweet one but you just can't get enough. It is dark and twisted and oh so delicious. This one is definitely one you need to read after the first in order to truly enjoy it but you will love this duet.

Gunner holds his feelings so close to his chest that you have no idea what he is thinking pretty much throughout this book. You are going to want to commit acts of violence for sure. Everly will have your heart in your throat. She doesn't know what she wants and I don’t blame her since everything hasn't been what it seems around her.

Danger lurks, hearts are broken, souls seem crushed, enlightenment occurs and more, leaving you with a book you won't get enough of. Definitely a must read duet!!!
