If you haven't read any books in this series don't let that keep you from reading this one!! Toni Aleo has a wonderful talent for telling a story and my heart for some reason felt even more invested in Harper and Jakob's story.

We start the story present day but as they are telling their story to their daughter we get to go back in time and see how their relationship started and progressed. The determination of Jakob to go after what he wants. How Harper had to overcome her past heartbreaks and trust issues with relationships. How even though we know they end up together you forget and worry about how their story will play out. Just everything about this story was one that made it hard to put down. I devoured the pages.

This is another great read and you will be hooked and devour the pages in no time at all!! I highly recommend this book and think you'd enjoy the others as well but they are necessary in order to fall in love with Harper and Jakob.

Wild Tendy (IceCats, #2)Wild Tendy by Toni Aleo
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

These two characters were so wonderful. Now there were times when I wanted to smack Aviva and her pride but she has dealt with a lot and is still dealing with stuff. Not only that but I fell in love with Nico, he is dealing with something that I didn't see coming.

Both Aviva and Nico were perfect for each other. They both bring out the best in each other and help each other to overcome their hang ups. The growth of these two not only with each other but with themselves and others had me hooked to this book.

Toni did such a great job with this book and I definitely can't believe I missed the first in this series but I will definitely be rectifying that shortly.

Toni has done a great job with the start of this series. I was hooked and couldn't put this book down. Shelli and Aiden's story had me in its clutches and didn't let go until the very end. This book was heartbreaking, heartwarming, funny and so much more.

Shelli has always wanted Aiden to see her and to have the same feelings and when she finally thinks he does that gets shot to hell. Going home to lick her wounds she never expects to have to run into him. Their connection is strong but he fights want they could have and hearts will be hurt. Will he cause to much damage? Will she be able to learn to get over her crush with Aiden?

Aiden is wanting to find out the identity of the mysterious woman whom he can't get out of his mind. He never expects to see her in his hometown and especially not where he does. He is shocked and it is going to be a fight to keep his hands of her again. Being with her puts everything at risk but he can't seem to stay away.

This is a must read book and I can't wait to see what Toni has in store for us next in this next generation series. I was addicted to the original series and I can just tell that this will be another set of must reads that I will have to have.
