Leah won me over with her Wounded Souls series and I devoured every page of that series so I was eager to see what she had in store for us next. Into the Fire was such a great start to what I am sure is going to be another top notch series. I fell in love with this close knit group of fire fighters, Lake, her brother and sister, her friend and Carson's sweet son as well.
This book was intense and definitely these two have a connection instantly. Both fall hard and fast for each other unexpectedly and unfortunately there are some who are against this match. I loved seeing these two work out taking time for each other even though their lives are crazy busy, the love they have for each other and those they care about and how no matter what they will work together to overcome any hurdles that come their way. Things get serious when his past is determined to keep them from building anything more.
This was a great start to what I'm sure will be another favorite series of mine. I am so thrilled to have found Leah Sharelle and her work and I can't wait for the next in this series!!!

I love the idea of being in love. Since my early teens when I first discovered Silhouette Desire novels my life has been all about reading. I would find myself re-writing scenes if I wasn't happy with them and hiding them under my bed. That led me to writing love stories of my own. They all ended up under the bed and are still there, and there they will stay. I don't do angst, in fact it drives me crazy.
I am a mum of three beautiful girls, Australian, and have what most say is a weird sense of humor.
I spend my free time doing movie, Sons of Anarchy, and Friends marathons. And reading.
I love Pina Colada's and getting caught in the rain..... there's that weird humor.
