I think this may be one of my favorite books in the Misadventures series!! Sarah knocked it out of the park with this one. I couldn't get enough of these two.

Josie finding herself outside of her family and the obligations and drama that all entails. Callan accomplishing what he has always thought would make him happy and finding what is most important in his life. Both of these characters overcoming obstacles that keep getting thrown at them. It is a book that will have you from the beginning with the craziness, hilarity, and sexiness and it won't let you go until the end!

Sarah Robinson first started her writing career as a published poet in high school, and then college, winning several poetry awards and being published in local literary journals.

Never expecting to make a career of it, a freelancing Craigslist job accidentally introduced her to the world of book publishing. Lengthening her writing from poetry to novels, Robinson published her first book through a small press publisher, before moving into self-publishing, and then finally was picked up by Penguin Random House two years later.

She most recently contracted with Loveswept for a contemporary romance series, KAVANAGH LEGENDS, that surrounds a tight-knit Irish family of MMA fighters in the Bronx. She is also exploring the arena of women’s fiction and has a lot of exciting things planned for the next few years!

Misadventures with My Ex by Shayla Black

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I can't help but to love a second chance romance but I was a bit hesitant with Weston at first. You live and learn and grow in life and this book has both. Weston made a choice three years ago and he never expected it to go on as long as it had. He thought he lost one of the most important things in his life and now that she is back in his life due to business, he has decided to try and explain and see if he can get back what he lost.

Shayla did such a great job with the rebuilding of Weston and Eryn's story. I ended up loving this book and couldn't put it down. I have found real winners in the Misadventures series and this is another to add to the list.

Meet The Author

Shayla Black is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of more than fifty novels. For nearly twenty years, she’s written contemporary, erotic, paranormal, and historical romances via traditional, independent, foreign, and audio publishers. Raised an only child, Shayla occupied herself with lots of daydreaming, much to the chagrin of her teachers.
